As the only seemingly conscious observer to come across all the sources pointing to 2012 I made it my duty to conveniently tie it all together in a pretty bow of destruction for the masses. I found myself trying to explain it to friends and coming up with "there’s just so much evidence I can’t even explain it", which doesn’t win many debates. In the following I attempt to explain the conglomeration of ancient prophecies, scientific evidence, whack-job theories and my own personal experience.

The Mayans deserve shot gun here even though many cultures made gestures towards the same foresights, the majority of Mayan legacy is the prophecy of Dec 21, 2012. Their never ending calendar seemed to end on that date with speculation of a world renewal. With such diagrams as the tree of life depicting the sun traveling through the “dark rift” every 26,000 years and declaring a solar eclipse on the day of Dec 21, 2012.

So when we calculate that there is a solar eclipse on that particular equinox, maybe we should look a little closer. Strangely enough, scientific discoveries have only confirmed such suspicions as we have determined the center of each galaxy to in fact be a black hole or “dark rift”. What’s more, we have found that the earth will be aligned with the sun and black hole all on that same day (roughly).

The sun? Well NASA is saying that it’s due for one of it’s largest solar storms in 2012, which sends intense waves of plasma energy towards the earth. Sounds like science fiction still right? Well it only gets better. The earths known protection from these bursts is the magnetic field which has almost been reduced to zero. This could lead to a reversal of poles which has occurred many times over the history of the earth but perhaps never so fast or with so much pressure. The polar SHIFT is the most real part of this in my opinion, as we KNOW the field is weaker than ever and the sun is preparing to blast us with solar winds.

Inversely, as the field diminishes, the Schumann resonance (heart beat of the earth) is increasing. This makes more sense than ever with how fast paced our world is today. Events in time appear to be closer together and days seem shorter and shorter. This may be the end time of our current constellation into the age of aquarius.

Many believe were in a transitional period between the two constellations. Pisces the age of monotheism, spirituality and the fish into aquarius the age of the computer, democracy and water.

This could easily be associated with Terrence McKennas Time Wave Zero theory where he states that charting the major events in time points to an end in time on Dec 21, 2012.

Aside from many religions sharing this same general point of view, talk to any devout Christian about the coming end of times and they will tell you according to biblical prophecy that time is now. The preparation of war between Russia and America has begun and all are preparing for war with Israel which is directly prophesied in the old testament and revelations.

Most of us reading this have been through the Y2K bug scare and will be skeptical not to be duped into or hyped up about this whole deal, but as you can see, the evidence is much more complex and compelling this time round.

2012 metaphysical speculations 2012 is claimed by some with New age beliefs to be a great year of spiritual transformation (or alternatively an apocalypse). There is disagreement among believers as to whether 2012 will see an end of civilization, or humanity will be elevated to a higher level.

* Riley Martin claims that Biaviian aliens will allow passage aboard their 'Great Mother Ship' when the Earth is 'transformed' in 2012.
* Terence McKenna's numerological novelty theory suggests a point of singularity in which humankind will go through a great shift in consciousness.
